Background
AEA is a prestigious engineer's association in the United States. It has a membership portal where they publish magazines and information related to the industry. Based on the member's needs, the client decided to include additional features through the membership portal.
The new feature includes job posts, events posts, and sell merchandise online for their members. One of our clients recommended the OddCounts team to develop these enhancement features and further maintenance of this portal.
Solutions
The client's membership portal was running on a WordPress CMS which is the favorite one for most of the web developers as it has a plethora of plugins developed by the WP Community.
We used a plugin for the job post feature. We customized the Job post fields at the plugin's backend UI and integrated them accordingly to the frontend UI to list the job posts in chronological order. A dedicated event page has been developed for event details, registration options for registration, and sponsors details. We developed a product catalog page to list all the merchandise images, details, and prices with an order fill-out form.
Apart from the development, OddCounts integrated the portal with a marketing automation software to capture the leads for future email campaigns and provided technical support whenever needed.
