Background
RTS is a Florida based weapon safety product company. The client has a couple of patented products that reduces the risk of unintentional firearm discharge.The client needed a complete makeover for its old website along with a fully custom eCommerce ordering system for its customers. The major project consideration includes mobile responsive design, improved usability to increase conversion rate, sales tax and shipment calculation, and data integration with Quickbooks accounting software.
Solutions
The RTS eCommerce site is developed using WooCommerce, a fully customizable and open-source platform built for WordPress.OddCounts designed the website with red and black as a theme color that represents Energy and Power respectively. White color with hexagonal mesh background makes the text stand out and legible. Our responsive web design solution made the website layout optimized for devices such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and smart TVs.
Our developers have integrated the Woocommerce orders and payment data with Intuit's Quickbook Online, accounting software for bookkeeping and auto invoicing.
For ease of their customers, we have implemented sales tax and shipping charge calculation based on the customer's delivery location. Post-launch, we handed over the credentials and technical documentation to the client's in-house team and provided necessary knowledge transfer for further maintenance and support of the system.
